Q: Why buy The Bear Mill products?
A: Quality and variety along with great customer service, it is that simple. The Bear Mill began designing their unique line of plush animals, clothing, and accessories in 2002. We have partnered with a team of suppliers in China who manufacturer our products. We have instilled an expectation of quality from them. Our inventory now includes more than 700 products.
Q: Do you have a minimum order requirement?
A: We do not have a minimum dollar amount requirement. We only require that a minimum of a half a case of any one item is ordered. The case count for Accessories, Clothing, and Shoes is 12. The case count for plush animals is 24 with exception of the 18.5” plush animals they are sold in a case of 12.
Q: How soon will my order ship?
A: All orders are shipped the same business day that they are received with few exceptions.
Q: Shipping Costs
A: We ship all products UPS. Although there are other shipping alternatives, we are able to offer discounted shipping because of the large volume done through a single carrier. As the price of fuel continues to increase, we feel this is one strategy that we can keep in place to help reduce the shipping cost for our customers.
Q: What if my order is incorrect or I receive a defective item?
A: Our goal is to provide quality products with superior customer service. If you do recieve a defective item, please call or send us an e-mail right away. We will take care of the problem immediately, with a little inconvenience to you our customer as possible.
Q: Do I need a machine to be in this business?
A: No. Many of our customers choose to hand stuff the animals. This can add a different level of involvement for the child.
Q: Why is your machinery better than a compressed air machine?
A: We believe that we have taken out all of the drawbacks that a compressed air machine may have. Unlike the compressed air system which need to recoup the air from the crompressor tank, our system has constant air flow. Additionaly, a compressor machine has a loud, high pitch sound when operating; our macine is not loud but operatesat a low hum. Our machine cannot block or clog. We have designed a specialty air locking chamber that will push the air back into the main hopper if an obstruction should occur.
Q: How do your products compare with others?
We have used our experience to perfect our line of products. We are using authentic materials and designs used in the market today. A child will see one of our products and relate with something he or she could buy for his or her self to wear. By paying attetnion to current fashion trends and pulling them into our product line, we are able to provide up to date clothing styles from which your child may choose.
Q. Shipping?
A: When Will My Order Ship?
With few exceptions, all orders ship the same business day that they are received. Orders received after 1:00 p.m., PST may be shipped the following business day.
Can My Order Be Expedited?
Yes, UPS offers Next Day Air, Second Day Air, and Three Day Select
Do You Ship Internationally?
Yes, shipping International orders is not a problem! European customers will receive their orders via the European Distribution Center located in Italy, which cuts down on shipping cost and saves shipping time.
Q. Backorders?
A: We make every effort to ensure that all items posted on the website are in stock; therefore, we do not handle backorders. On occasion we may run out of an item(s) while filling orders. In that case, the packing slip (Sales Order) is marked in red pen with the number of items shipped. The billing office creates the Invoice which reflects the number of items ordered and the invoiced.
Q. Refused Orders?
A: If at the time of delivery an order is refused, no refund will be given until the order is returned to us. Once the order has been received and the items on the order verified, any refund given will be less shipping costs and all UPS charges for a refused delivery. In some instances, there may be a 10% restocking fee.
